He attended Bible College in Portland, Oregon and became the pastor of a small church in Washington state in 1954 at age 19

San Antonio, Texas

As the organization flourishes in the years ahead, it will establish hundreds of CI Extensions in local churches worldwide, fostering spiritual growth and unity among diverse communities. Through CI Off-Campus Bible College, thousands of passionate students will embark on transformative journeys, deepening their faith and expanding their knowledge. Together, they will forge a dynamic and far-reaching legacy, shaping the future of Christianity and impacting lives for generations to come.

School of Theology

Dr. Bill Hamon founds Christian International School of Theology.

The first CI Extension Colleges were established.

God’s Challenges

God challenges Dr. Hamon to start weekly “School of the Holy Spirit” meetings. This “school” served as a “classroom ministry” to teach, train, and activate individuals in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Eventually, special conferences and seminars, emphasized on teaching the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, were held throughout the year at nearby hotel/resort facilities to meet the registration demands.

Christian International Launches CIMA, Uniting Ministers Globally

Christian International forms its first ministerial association, Christian International Ministerial Association (CIMA).

Company of prophets

Dr. Bill Hamon receives the revelation that God was going to raise up a great end-time company of prophets to restore the ministries of the prophet and the apostle. He wrote the first in a series of three books on prophets and the prophetic ministry. God began giving Dr. Hamon both a vision and a burden for calling forth, activating, and maturing that great company of prophets. CIMA was changed to Christian International Network of Prophetic Ministries (CI NPM) with the purpose of fulfilling that vision. CI NPM grew nationwide with scores of ministers and churches. Hundreds of prophets and prophetic ministers were called forth and activated into prophetic ministry.

Prophetic Movement is birthed

The Lord comes upon Dr. Bill Hamon at the International Gathering of Apostles and Prophets conference, and he begins to travail. Dr. Hamon knows he is experiencing “birthing pains” and that night the Prophetic Movement is birthed and restored to the Body of Christ.

The Apostolic Movement

Apostles begin to be recognized, along with the prophets, as foundational ministries of the Church. The Apostolic Movement is in its embryonic stages.

Christian International Apostolic Network

With the birthing of the Apostolic, an understanding of oversight and accountability begins to be a strong desire. The networking together of ministers and churches for relationship, oversight, and accountability will add a new dimension of covering for those relating to CI NPM. Christian International Apostolic Network (CIAN) is formed to meet that need.
